Oscars 2009 Red Carpet: AMY ADAMS

February 25, 2009 at 3:53 am (Fashion)

The Best Supporting Actress nominee, she was wearing Carolina Herrea crimson bustier dress with black silk satin, Christian Louboutin heels and VBH satin clutch, her tops off her gown with a Fred Leighton bib necklace with approximately 640 carats of emeralds, rubies and sapphires and 39 carats of diamonds. I love that red dress make her looked gorgeous, but I don’t like the necklace with her outfit, the necklace looks kind of old, she might picked the necklace with black and red diamond with her , it would be fits her style.

Shapes and silhouettes: The clear importance sharpes respect to silhouette,it was blouson coats and the sleek panels of velvet and silk pieced together on dresses.

Beyoncé is a famous super star in this world. She has beautiful face, unique and powerful voice. She also got really good relish with her wearing. In her music video “Crazy in Love”, she shows her charming characteristic, also represent all the type of outfit connect with hip-hop music style which is complete interpretation of this music. That’s how this music attracts me focusing on this video.

The music of “Single Ladies”; when I see it at first time, I feel it like the vintage broadways style. In this video, only have one look and outfit shows in it. Compare with “Crazy in Love”, the “Single ladies” is not like that attract me in the visual. Because of color of the video is not like usual video with colors, so makes me feel this video is boring and unlively.

Gladys show her website, www.gladysperintpalmer.com . and also shared what she has done with her illustration portfolios.

Gladys talked and explained that what she observed in fashion events and how inspired her and got idea in her illustrations. After that there was Simon’s speech, Simon talked about how he being an associate with Alexander McQueen and showed his collections to students.

Gladys was wearing a black turtleneck top, black trouser pants, black flats, and purple sating long coat. I think what she wearing wasn’t on trend, she always wearing that similar outfit with whole black.

Students attended to the event were wearing jeans, leggings, boots, sweaters and coats that I can see is student fashion.
